This cat was literally just chilling then became interested in a butterfly (which is what it is looking at right now, out of the frame).

I thought this little group of branches was quite interesting.

When walking through the woods, I found the sun coming through the leaves in the trees to be quite mesmerizing.

Late afternoon arrived and since the days are getting shorter, the sun was setting earlier.

Washington has some of the most beautiful trees I've ever seen.

While there were no adult bears present for a photo op, I caught a glimpse of this cub laying in the sun, through some trees.

This one has a gangsta lean, if you know what I'm saying.

It was such a nice day, I'd be chilling in the grass, too, if I was him.

This guy was quite chill. As I was taking this photo (and others like it that didn't make it) it seemed as though he was watching.

This bird made a nest in a hanging planter on our porch.

Our favorite household pet.

This pole exists approximately twenty miles from the city. At this point, the utilities go underground and feed the few houses in the area.

This is the base of Sandia Peak. The top is approximately 10,378 feet (3,163 meters) above sea level.

Shot while driving on the interstate in New Mexico.

This wolf was pacing it's area constantly. It took a good two dozen shots and almost ten laps to get this.
